CAA LITERARY AWARDS
The 2009 Canadian Authors Association Literary Awards were announced on June 6. Congratulations to Nino Ricci, who won the CAA/MOSAID Technologies Award for Fiction for his novel, The Origin of Species (Doubleday Canada).

PASHA MALLA WINS DANUTA GLEED LITERARY AWARD
Pasha Malla is the recipient of the $10,000 DANUTA GLEED LITERARY AWARD for The Withdrawal Method (Anansi), judged the best English-language first collection of short fiction by a Canadian author published in 2008.
